Intro

Navigating high responsibility is one thing. But what about knowing you’ll inherit it or finding exceptional wealth or profile at a young age?

It can be exceptionally difficult. Particularly if you have found wealth and your home community has no experience of that context.

I offer a programme specifically for young adults that merges two areas of personal interest and expertise:

  1. character development to prepare young adults

  2. rites of passage into adulthood: a lost art in the modern west that fosters a mindset of stewardship and citizenship

The Offering

This is a form of mentorship for young adults aged 15 - 25(ish).

It can cover themes including identity forming, personal purpose, extreme options, managing self, healthy relationships etc.

Sessions can be pre-agreed with any guardians so everyone is comfortable it will meet the contextual needs.

I am not only a parent of four children heading into and through their teens, I am also a Chair of a Secondary School; I am close to the contemporary pressures facing young adults on a daily basis.

becoming
of age

becoming of inheritance

And yet a knowledge is here
that tenses the throat
as for song: the inheritance
of the ones, alive or once
alive, who stand behind
the ones I have imagined,
who took into their minds
the troubles of this place,
blights of love and race,
but saw a good fate here
and willingly paid its cost,
kept it the best they could,
thought of its good,
and mourned the good they lost
